Pizza Maru HK Membership Program Terms & Conditions

Pizza Maru HK Membership Program is owned and operated by UNIVERSAL WIN HOLDINGS LIMITED (“Pizza Maru HK”), which is governed by the following Terms & Conditions. Pizza Maru HK Membership Program shall only be valid in Hong Kong SAR. By applying for Pizza Maru HK membership, or using any part of the mobile application, you agree that you have read these Terms and Conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them; including these terms and conditions might be amended from time to time, without providing notice. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions below, please do not access this membership program. 

You further agree to provide to Pizza Maru HK your personal data (“Personal Data”, as defined in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap.486) of Hong Kong), and Pizza Maru HK may collect and use your Personal Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy Statement.

Membership Application and Eligibility

  1. In order to be registered as a Pizza Maru HK member, applicants must be aged 18 years or above. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you need to ask the parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use to register as a Pizza Maru HK membership member. 

  2. The applicant is required to install Pizza Maru HK mobile application into your mobile device and register as a Pizza Maru HK member by completing all mandatory fields in the registration form and click to agree the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Then, verify the mobile phone number by receiving a SMS verification code. A registered mobile number serves as the unique identifier in Pizza Maru HK. One mobile number can be registered as the Pizza Maru HK Member for one time.

  3. The applicant must complete all mandatory fields in the application form in full and provide true and accurate information. Pizza Maru HK will not process any incomplete or inaccurate application; and reserves the right to decline any application for Pizza Maru HK membership at its sole discretion and without giving any reasons therefor.

  4. The applicant is required to provide valid mobile number and email address for member registration and receive membership notifications. You agree to notify us immediately by updating your personal profile(s) upon change of any of your information submitted to us when you registered as a Pizza Maru HK member. To the extent permitted by law, Pizza Maru HK shall not be liable for any claim, demand, liability, or action resulting from your omission, negligence and/or failure to supply us with your updated information and the accuracy and completeness of those information.

  5. Before the applicant has become a Pizza Maru Silver member, any dine-in and self-pickup spending (except third-party takeaway platform) at the Pizza Maru HK outlets is eligible for upgrading to Silver membership only and not eligible for saving Pizza Maru reward points and enjoying member benefits.

 

Membership Tiers

  1. Pizza Maru HK offers 3 levels of membership tiers, namely Saver, Silver and Gold. Saver membership is permanent. Silver & Gold membership is valid for 365 days.

  2. After registering as Saver members, members will receive and enjoy welcome privileges.

  3. The membership tiers of Silver and Gold members are determined by the accumulative spending that accumulates in the Pizza Maru account within 365 days.

Silver Membership Application and Eligibility

  1. To be eligible for Silver membership, the Saver member is required to accumulate a total spending of HK$1200 within 62 days from the first recorded transaction. All newly upgraded memberships will take effect on the day after the member reaches the required accumulated spending amount.

  2. Spending record can only be saved once per transaction each time. Each member can scan up to three transaction receipt QR codes per day. All spending on third-party takeaway platform cannot earn Pizza Maru reward points or included in the accumulative spending scheme of Pizza Maru HK membership.

  3. The cumulative net spending amount is calculated based on dine-in and self-pickup spending (except third-party takeaway platform) deducts from all promotional offers and discounts (excluding 10% service charge and decimal point).

  4. Silver membership will be automatically renewed for another year with cumulative spending of HK$3,800 within 365 days.

  5. Once a Silver membership is renewed, the new membership period will be effective 365 days from the date of renewal. Reward points, accumulated spending and e-coupons could not be brought forward to next membership period although the member would renew the membership successfully.

  6. Silver membership will be automatically downgraded to Saver membership tier if cumulative spending less than HK$3,800 in 365 days.

  7. The QR Code for the corresponding reward points of the transaction must be scanned and saved from the receipt within 3 days from the transaction date, and the entire transaction can be recorded in one member’s account only. Split transaction will not be accepted. Reward points can only be earned once per transaction each time.

  8. The accumulated spending or reward points of the receipt will not be accepted and recorded under any circumstances if the QR Code is scanned and saved outside of the stipulated time frame.

  9. Spending recorded in different Pizza Maru HK memberships cannot be combined.

  10. Record of cumulative spending in reward point will be updated within 3 days after the scanning. The Member can check the cumulative spending record via Pizza Maru HK. Pizza Maru HK’s record is final and conclusive.

 

Gold Membership Application and Eligibility

  1. To be eligible for Gold membership, the Silver Member is required to accumulate a total spending of HK$12,000 during the Silver membership period in 365 days. All newly upgraded memberships will take effect on the day after the member reaches the required accumulated spending amount. Accumulated reward points and e-coupons of Silver membership could be brought forward to Gold membership period once upgraded.

  2. Spending record can only be saved once per transaction each time. Each member can scan up to three transaction receipt QR codes per day. All spendings on third-party takeaway platform cannot earn Pizza Maru reward points or included in the accumulative spending scheme of Pizza Maru HK membership.

  3. The cumulative net spending amount is calculated based on dine-in and self-pickup spending (except third-party takeaway platform) deducts from all promotional offers and discounts (excluding 10% service charge and decimal point).

  4. Gold membership will be automatically renewed for another year with cumulative spending of HK$12,000 within 365 days.

  5. Once Gold membership is renewed, the new membership period will be effective for 12 months from the date of renewal. Reward points, accumulated spending and e-coupons could not be brought forward to next membership period although the member would renew the membership successfully.

  6. Gold membership will be automatically downgraded to Silver membership tier if cumulative spending less than HK$12,000 in 365 days. Also, it will be automatically downgraded to Saver membership tier if cumulative spending less than HK$3,800 in 365 days.

  7. The QR Code for the corresponding reward points of the transaction must be scanned and saved from the receipt within 3 days from the transaction date, and the entire transaction can be recorded in one member’s account only. Split transaction will not be accepted. Reward points can only be earned once per transaction each time.

Silver & Gold Member Birthday Privilege

  1. Silver / Gold members must provide the birthday date to receive the Birthday privilege. No amendment is allowed once the details has been submitted. Birthday privilege will be credited to member’s account on the first day of birthday month.

  2. Silver / Gold members will receive designated birthday e-Coupon if they own Silver / Gold membership status before the first day of the birthday month.  If the membership is created in his/her birthday month, member can enjoy the birthday offer in his/her birthday month in the following year. 

  3. Member must meet the spending requirements and conditions of the birthday privilege, and it can be used once during the birthday month.

  4. Birthday offer cannot be used on Saturday after 4:30pm, general holidays, eves of general holidays, special festive days (including Valentine’s Day, Ching Ming Festival, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Winter Solstice & New Year’s Eve)

  5. Birthday offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotional offer. No amendment, cancellation, refund can be made once the use of the e-coupon is redeemed successfully.

 

Gold Member 10% discount

  1. Gold members can enjoy 10% discount for any purchase of a-la-carte items for dine-in spending over HK$300 or above (before 10% service charge)

  2. E-coupon is valid within the membership period of the gold member

  3. E-coupon is not applicable to set menus, promotional items, corkage, cake cutting fee, any other member discount and 10% service charge

  4. Max. one e-coupon or discount can be used per transaction per table, split bill is not allowed

  5. E-coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotional offer. No amendment, cancellation, refund can be made once the use of the e-coupon is redeemed successfully

  6. E-coupon cannot be used on Saturday after 4:30pm, general holidays, eves of general holidays, special festive days (including Valentine’s Day, Ching Ming Festival, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Winter Solstice & New Year’s Eve)

  7. E-coupon is valid at Pizza Maru outlets in Hong Kong

  8. Photos for reference only. The real object should be considered as final. 

  9. The coupon usage is subjected to internet network or else system which are out of Pizza Maru HK’s control. However, Pizza Maru HK must try best to maintain and ensure it is in good condition. 

  10. Pizza Maru HK’s record is final and conclusive. Pizza Maru HK reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of gift redemption without prior notice, and of final decision on all matters of dispute.

E-coupons

  1. Members can enjoy the offer by presenting valid e-coupon upon dine-in with required spending. Any informal format of the e-coupon is not accepted.

  2. E-coupon is valid within the membership period of the Silver/ Gold member and only can be used once.

  3. E-coupon is not applicable to set menu, other charges (including corkage, cake cutting fee), promotional items and 10% service charge.

  4. Max. one e-coupon or discount can be used per transaction per table, split bill is not allowed

  5. E-coupon cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotional offer. No amendment, cancellation, refund can be made once the use of the e-coupon is redeemed successfully

  6. E-coupon cannot be used on Saturday after 4:30pm, general holidays, eves of general holidays, special festive days (including Valentine’s Day, Ching Ming Festival, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Mid-Autumn Festival, Winter Solstice & New Year’s Eve)

  7. E-coupon is valid at Pizza Maru outlets in Hong Kong

  9. All rewards are only available while stocks last. Pizza Maru HK has the right to terminate the provision of rewards or provide similar rewards as an alternative without prior notice.

  10. The coupon usage is subjected to internet network or else system which are out of Pizza Maru HK’s control. However, Pizza Maru HK must try best to maintain and ensure it is in good condition. 

  11. Pizza Maru HK’s record is final and conclusive. Pizza Maru HK reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of gift redemption without prior notice, and of final decision on all matters of dispute.

 

Reward Points Redemption

  1. The transaction after becoming Silver/Gold members will be valid for accumulating Pizza Maru reward points (“Reward point”). Silver/Gold members can earn one reward point for every HK$20 spent at the Pizza Maru outlets in Hong Kong. Reward point will be calculated based on the dine-in and self-pickup spending after promotional offers and discounts (if any) divided by 20 and excluding 10% service charge and decimal point.

  2. Reward point will not be saved through spendings from orders of third-party takeaway platform, gratuity discount, cash voucher, or 10% service charges.

  3. It will take 3 days after transaction for reward point to be processed and credited to Silver/Gold members’ accounts.

  4. The reward point will be deducted instantly once redemption is confirmed successfully. All used reward point cannot be cancelled or changed. All redemption items cannot be cancelled or changed upon the system confirmed and cannot be exchanged for cash or other reward items.

  5. Reward points are valid for 365 days following the effective date of a membership, and reward points collected after this date will be calculated in calendar year. The remaining reward points from the last membership year will be terminated in the renewed Silver/Gold membership. Expired reward points will be automatically forfeited. 

  6. The receipt with the QR code can only be printed once after the transaction. The receipt will not be reprinted or re-issued.

  7. Reward points earned will be credited to the member’s account within 3 days after scanning the QR codes.

  8. Reward points are non-transferable and non-divisible, and reward points stored in different membership cards cannot be used in combination.

  9. All cancelled transactions and refunds are not eligible for Points, such Points will be automatically deducted from the Member account.

  10. The reward point records of Pizza Maru HK shall prevail. Pizza Maru HK will not accept any claim of missing reward points after transaction.

  11. Pizza Maru HK’s record is final and conclusive. Pizza Maru HK reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of gift redemption without prior notice, and of final decision on all matters of dispute.

 

Malfunction / Loss of Member Account

  1. If there is any suspicious, irregular activity, lost or hacked relating to Member account, please immediately contact Pizza Maru HK by email at info@pizzamaru.com.hk. Pizza Maru HK shall not be responsible for any loss (including reward points and e-coupons) suffered by you in relation to your lost.

  2. It is member’s responsibility to ensure the safety and security of member’s account. Pizza Maru HK shall not be liable for any loss.

  3. Pizza Maru HK membership is not transferable or assignable and is for the member’s personal use and benefit only. Verification of the member's identity may be required at the sole discretion of Pizza Maru HK.

 

Termination of Membership

  1. Members can terminate their Membership at any time by giving written notice to Pizza Maru HK. Any unredeemed reward points will be cancelled/forfeited, and membership will be terminated.

  2. Pizza Maru HK reserves the right to terminate the Program and/or its operation at its sole discretion at any time with reasonable notice, without giving any reason therefor. All rights and/or privileges of an applicant/Member shall cease upon termination and Pizza Maru HK will not be liable for any loss or damages resulting therefrom.

 

Data Privacy

  1. Pizza Maru HK is committed to protect all personal data submitted via Pizza Maru HK membership and to handle them in accordance with the provisions of Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Collection of personal data (including name, contact information, and all submitted information for membership) from Members shall be used for purpose relating to the daily operation of the service, including but not limited to: providing online ordering and the services offered by Pizza Maru HK; handling and following up customers enquiries, suggestions, complaints; conducting surveys on our products and services to better understand members’ needs; providing information about Pizza Maru HK member’s offer, service, promotion through mail, e-mail, telephone or SMS, and other issues related to any purpose mentioned above.

  2. By indicating the acceptance of the Terms and Conditions, Members agree and consent that Pizza Maru HK may use the personal data for the purposes stated in Clause 1 above. 

 

Miscellaneous

  1. In the event of any disputes arising from Pizza Maru HK membership or the Terms and Conditions, Pizza Maru HK shall be the sole and final arbiter of such disputes and its decision shall be absolute and binding on the member.

  2. Pizza Maru HK Membership is not transferable or assignable and is for the member’s personal use and benefit only. Verification of the member's identity may be required at the sole discretion of Pizza Maru HK.

  3. A Member's use of Pizza Maru HK Membership is deemed to be an acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Pizza Maru HK.

  4. Pizza Maru HK reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of Pizza Maru HK Membership without prior notice. All changes or amendments are effective once announce on the Application. Member should regularly check whether this Terms and Conditions of Pizza Maru HK Membership has been modified via the Application, as the Member’s continued use of the Application indicates the acceptance of any change to this Terms and Conditions of Pizza Maru HK Membership. In case of any disputes, the decision of Pizza Maru HK shall be final.

  5. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English version and Chinese version of the Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
